Must:
We are looking for candidates who possess hands-on experience in IT Service Management and IT Operations, with deep expertise in Service Design and Transition. You should have a proven track record in leading Service Transition initiatives and other key ITSM functions. Certification in ITIL 4 is essential, along with extensive practical application of ITIL principles across diverse operational frameworks. It is important for you to be skilled in producing comprehensive service documentation, including SLAs, support models, and operational guides. Experience in successfully leading and delivering complex, large-scale Service Transition programs involving multiple integrated applications is required. Familiarity with managing services within intricate IT environments, supporting 24/7 operations, and navigating regulatory compliance is preferred. A strong service-oriented mindset, commitment to continuous improvement, and ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences are essential traits. Experience in matrix-managed organisations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, contractors, and third-party vendors, is also important. A solid background in the financial services and insurance sectors is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
As an IT Service Transition Lead, you will manage an effective and seamless transition of new IT services into live operational use. Your primary responsibilities will include leading the Service Transition initiatives, ensuring that all necessary documentation and processes are completed for the successful transition of services. You will be collaborating with various teams, including cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors, to achieve the objectives of the transition. Additionally, you will focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving continuous improvement in service delivery.
Description
This role is a 6-month contract position, offering up to £600 per day (Inside IR35) with hybrid working options based in London.
