Responsibilities
We are seeking an IT Project Co-ordinator who will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of our projects and supporting our IT Project Managers. Your primary duties will involve assisting in the management of project plans and schedules, as well as coordinating various team activities, particularly within our product teams. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data related to project status, identifying issues and risks that need attention. By developing and updating project dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs), you will provide valuable insights and recommendations for project improvements.
Your role will also include identifying opportunities for process improvements within the PMO and across IT projects. You will assist in the development and implementation of PMO standards, procedures, and best practices. Capacity planning and resource management will be another critical aspect, ensuring that our capacity planner and resource forecasts are maintained and up-to-date. Additionally, you will track supplier contracts and performance, ensuring that nominated supplier leads engage and review supplier performance as required.
You will assist the IT Leadership team in preparing and reporting on budget, spend, and forecasts, liaising with the Finance Department as appropriate. Supporting the Head of Department and our wider IT Leadership Team in reporting to stakeholders will be part of your responsibilities. You will help improve Technology Enablement Team processes and manage relevant systems and tools, ensuring that information held in these systems is accurate and current. Training and support for team members on the use of project management tools will also be part of your duties.
