Requirements
Must:
- Proven active as an IT Consultant with Active SC (Security Clearance)
- Hands-on experience with Beowulf clusters
- Strong knowledge of Slurm Job Scheduling
- Expertise in MPI-optimized container images, including OpenMPI with Apptainer (SIF) and Podman/Buildah tooling
- Ability to conduct HPC infrastructure interviews and containerisation workshops (nice to have)
- Familiarity with SDLC, Jupyter ecosystem, and MPI
- Knowledge of Singularity, SIF format, HPC workflows, CFD software (e.g., OpenFOAM), Docker, Kubernetes as HPC runtime, Run:AI and GPU slicing
Responsibilities
- Lead containerisation initiatives for high-performance computing environments
- Advise on best practices for HPC workflows
- Engage with customers through workshops and technical interviews
- Optimize HPC environments for improved performance and efficiency
Description
We are excited to offer a role for an experienced HPC Expert to join our team. This position will be based onsite for a 20-day contract, with a competitive rate of up to £610 (Inside IR35).
