Requirements
Must:
- I require an active Security Clearance (SC Cleared).
- You should have proven experience as an IT Analyst / IT Engineer (or equivalent) with responsibilities in providing Laptop Refreshes, device builds, and device wipe tasks.
- You must be able to provide support for printers, scanners, wireless connections, and VPNs.
- Experience in IT equipment Install/Move/Add/Change and Disposal (including End of Life support) is necessary.
- You should be capable of tracking and resolving incidents and requests using the ticketing tool (ITSM).
- A capability to provide backup, restoration, and migration of user data is essential.
- Excellent communication skills are expected.
- Ability to be onsite 5 days per week is a must.
Responsibilities
- I need you to assist in refreshing laptops and building devices onsite for our prestigious end client.
- You will support various IT equipment and help in resolving incidents and requests.
- You will perform installation, movement, addition, change, and disposal of IT equipment.
- You will also manage backup, restoration, and migration of user data.
Description
- This position pays up to £140 per day (Inside IR35 - Umbrella) and is based in Bristol with a 6-8 week contract duration. - There may be a break of roughly 2 weeks over the Christmas period. - It's nice to have previous experience in performing device pre-checks, validations, and reporting, as well as familiarity with Dead on Arrival (DOA) / faulty devices and working knowledge of an Asset Management Database (AMDB). - I am from Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited, acting as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and as an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
