Requirements
Must:
We are looking for Full Stack Developers with the following key skills and experience:
- Proficiency in AWS, Python, and React
- Experience with DynamoDB; familiarity with Cypress is desirable
- Experience in the GOV or public sector is a plus
- Expertise in automated background processes using Python, Lambda, and AWS Batch
- Highly experienced in Terraform and DynamoDB
- Working knowledge of Elastic Container Registry (ECR), S3 Buckets, AWS Simple Queue System (SQS), Secrets Manager, KMS, CloudWatch logs, and Splunk integration
- Proficiency in AWS Glue Studio and AWS Athena
- Automation and DevOps experience, including CI/CD practices
- Relevant AWS certifications, preferably as an AWS Certified Developer
- Front-end skills in Single Page Applications using Typescript, NodeJS, and React
- Back-end skills with Application Backend API Gateway and API Layer using Python (ideally 3.8) and Lambda
Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Developer, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing applications using Python for backend services and React for frontend interfaces
- Leveraging AWS Lambda as the backend language, utilizing the Boto3 package to interact with AWS services
- Implementing automated background processes to enhance application performance
- Utilizing Terraform for infrastructure as code to streamline deployment processes
- Ensuring code quality through static code analysis and linting techniques
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions aligned with client needs and specifications
Description
This is a 6-month ongoing contract opportunity, fully remote, and you must be based in the UK to meet BPSS clearance eligibility. The position falls inside IR35 regulations.
