Must:
We are seeking candidates with proven experience as a Business Analyst within the financial services sector, ideally with exposure to risk, controls, and compliance frameworks. You should possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to interpret complex documentation and data while ensuring alignment with audit requirements. Experience acting as a liaison between business and IT is crucial, as you will be translating technical language into business terms and vice versa. A confident communicator is essential, someone who can effectively chase stakeholders, follow up on actions, and ensure timely delivery of documentation. You should be comfortable working in audit-heavy environments and have experience supporting external auditors while ensuring that programme documentation is complete and accurate. Familiarity with DORA and SOX compliance is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will support our internal audit programmes focused on DORA and SOX compliance. You will act as a bridge between our business and IT functions, collaborating closely with external auditors to ensure that documentation, controls, and stakeholder engagement are aligned across both programmes. Your duties will include interpreting complex data, maintaining communication between various parties, and ensuring that all processes are compliant and well-documented.
Description
The position is available to start ASAP and is initially set to last until 31/12/2025. The rate for this role is between £400-£500 per day, operating inside IR35 via Umbrella. The location is London, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring you to be in the office three days a week.
