Requirements
Must:
- Demonstrable experience in Data Science, with a particular focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting
- Ability to perform enhanced risk assessments of AI usage within the organization
- Capability to propose appropriate controls when material risks are identified
- Ability to recommend and improve existing security risk assessment methodology for complex AI systems
- Skill in developing threat models for AI systems
- Proficient in translating highly technical jargon and complex IT risks into business language for non-technical audiences
- Flexible approach towards hybrid working
- Full eligibility to work in the UK without restrictions (no sponsorship available)
Responsibilities
As a Data Scientist, I will play a critical role in performing enhanced risk assessments regarding the use of AI within our organization. My responsibilities will include identifying material risks and proposing appropriate controls to mitigate them. Additionally, I will recommend improvements to our existing security risk assessment methodologies for complex AI systems and develop threat models to assess potential vulnerabilities. I will also be tasked with translating complex technical issues into understandable language for non-technical stakeholders to ensure effective communication across the organization.
Description
I am seeking a Data Scientist with a strong background in AI and ML, and significant Python scripting skills. This position offers an attractive rate of up to £495 per day (Inside IR35) and requires working three days a week in our London office for an initial 6-month contract. It would be advantageous if candidates have experience with large language models (LLMs), are knowledgeable about AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, are degree educated in Computer Science or related fields, and have previous experience in the insurance industry or cyber security environments. A working knowledge of SQL or statistical programming languages, such as R, would also be beneficial.
