Must:
We are looking for a Data Platform Engineer with:
- Proven, hands-on experience in Building and Operating Data Platforms.
- Advanced knowledge of Azure Services.
- Demonstrable experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), including network configurations and integration runtime options.
- Strong expertise in Synapse Analytics Spark, Azure Key Vault, and Data Lake Storage Accounts.
- The ability to showcase DevOps and CI/CD capabilities.
- Working knowledge of designing and deploying infrastructure.
- Experience in efficiently handling large-scale data.
- A deep understanding of Azure DevOps pipelines and deploying Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
- Proven experience in Platform Migration projects and delivering secure, scalable cloud solutions.
Responsibilities
As a Data Platform Engineer, I will assist in designing and delivering complex cloud solutions, making use of my core strengths in building and operating data platforms with hands-on expertise in Azure Services, Synapse Spark Architecture, ADF, and Terraform (IaC).
Description
This position is offered at market rate (inside IR35), located in London with a hybrid work arrangement, on a contract basis for 6 months. We appreciate that a strong candidate may also understand Synapse Spark Architecture and be familiar with a variety of technologies including Apache Spark, Spark ML, Serverless Spark Pools, T-SQL, and ETL. Immediate availability is a plus.
