Requirements
Must:
- At least three years experience working in cloud environments, specifically Microsoft Azure
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) qualification
- ITIL v4 Foundation certification
- Hands-on experience with Azure services including Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Networking, Active Directory, Key Vault, Security Center, Policy, and Kubernetes (AKS)
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell or Bash
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (VPNs, DNS, firewalls, load balancers)
- Knowledge of cloud identity, access control, and security features (RBAC, MFA, conditional access)
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
- Experience with Microsoft operating systems (Windows Server 2016-2025, Windows 11, Office 365)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent documentation and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Advantageous to have experience with Azure SQL, MongoDB, or Azure Sentinel
- Knowledge of Linux administration and hybrid workloads is beneficial
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions pipelines is a plus
- Proactive, flexible, and results-oriented approach
- Strong prioritization skills under tight deadlines
- Commitment to health and safety and ability to build strong relationships
- Eligibility for BPSS & SC clearance (current SC clearance desirable)
- UK Driving Licence (desirable, for travel between sites)

Responsibilities
- Support and enhance the Microsoft Azure environment
- Design and deploy secure, resilient Azure infrastructure and services
- Manage and administer a wide range of Azure resources, including compute, storage, networking, identity, and security services
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or ARM templates
- Enforce security best practices and compliance standards to protect the business
- Take ownership of patch management, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening processes
- Support the migration of workloads from on-premises infrastructure to Azure
- Maintain robust disaster recovery and backup strategies across all Azure environments
- Stay up to date with the latest Azure innovations and propose opportunities for continuous improvement
- Drive the evolution of the companys cloud landscape, ensuring it is secure, scalable, and aligned with business needs
