Requirements
Must:
- Executive-level experience in digital transformation, ideally within the education sector
- Proven track record of spearheading digital transformation across multiple sites
- Experience in developing and leading a digital or technology strategy
- Strong capability in managing cyber security initiatives
- Passion for technologys impact on education and learners
- Ability to work collaboratively with an executive team
- Experience in managing a team effectively
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of a trust-wide digital and IT strategy
- Set clear priorities, investment plans, and measurable outcomes
- Maintain oversight of the Trusts digital landscape and establish a transformation roadmap
- Drive the transition to a coherent enterprise architecture across platforms, integrations, and data flows
- Provide strategic advice to the CEO and Trustees on technology decisions
- Oversee core systems and infrastructure to ensure security, resilience, and scalability
- Drive value for money through effective procurement and vendor management
- Lead the Trusts cyber-security strategy and promote cyber awareness across the organisation
- Establish and embed a trust-wide data governance framework
- Identify opportunities to enhance teaching and learning using emerging technologies, particularly AI
- Ensure digital platforms meet the needs of schools and positively impact teaching and learning
- Provide regular updates to the CEO and Board on digital initiatives
- Lead major digital transformation programmes and support the professional development of IT and digital teams
