Requirements
Must:
- Experience of working as a BI Developer is essential
- Experience developing and testing reporting solutions
- Solid knowledge of MS SQL Server 2012-2022 data warehouse development and querying
- Experience using MS SQL Integration Services to develop complex ETL and automation solutions
- Expert knowledge of SQL Server Management Studio and Data Tools
- Knowledge of supporting programming and scripting languages such as C#, XML, PowerShell, and Python
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Responsibilities
In this role, I will be responsible for maintaining and developing the BI environment and supporting my team in providing service delivery to reporting demands. I will develop reporting solutions from various source systems to support decision-making, operational delivery, and meet contractual obligations for use by internal and external stakeholders. As part of the Business Intelligence & Data team, I will support the BI Manager in advancing development projects while maintaining and developing Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) pipelines from a range of business systems into the BI environment. Additionally, I will maintain and develop SQL-based reporting and business intelligence within our organization.
Description
This exciting position offers a salary of up to £52,000, negotiable based on experience, along with an excellent work-life balance, including home working, 27 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, flexibility, and other public sector benefits.
