- Ability to identify cost-saving opportunities in cloud resources
- Excellent reporting and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Review Azure resources including App Services, Azure SQL, Storage, CDN, Key Vault, and networking
- Assess CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
- Evaluate security posture, access controls, backups, and disaster recovery
- Analyse performance, scaling configuration, and monitoring setup
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and unused or misconfigured resources
- Validate alignment with Umbraco hosting best practices
- Produce a clear report with findings and recommended actions
Description
We are seeking an experienced Azure Engineer/Architect to join our team and focus on reviewing and assessing the cloud infrastructure supporting an Umbraco CMS Multisite installation. This contract role, with a daily rate of £550 - £650 depending on experience, is primarily remote but may require occasional site visits in Birmingham. We offer a dynamic work environment and the possibility of extension beyond March, alongside an opportunity to significantly impact our cloud infrastructure.
