- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is essential.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements (PRA, FCA, ISO27001, GDPR, Cyber Essentials, PCI-DSS) is important.
- Desirable skills include practical application of Microsoft Access, Project, Visio, SQL, Python, Tableau, and Data Governance tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
- A self-confident communicator and team player with attention to detail.
- Flexible approach and a proactive can do attitude.

Responsibilities
- Develop Data Protection and Governance policies, procedures, and processes related to the data governance program.
- Support all departments and business lines in implementing recommended changes and resolving data-related issues.
- Assist with reports required by management, auditors, or regulators.
- Carry out ad hoc tasks assigned by the Head of Data and Process Management Office.
- Participate in the lifecycle management of data, covering metadata, data lineage, security, quality, and standards.
- Represent the London Branch in the Head Office Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) construction.
- Maintain entries on the Head Office and local data directories.
- Assess data requirements during the software development lifecycle for various applications, ensuring data protection and governance.

Description
This is a permanent hybrid position, requiring four working days on-site. You will be reporting to the data process management team, supporting UK operations in delivering effective data governance. Your role is critical in managing data quality, protection, and compliance, as well as establishing and monitoring relevant policies in areas like IT Risks, Information Security, and GDPR. You will help ensure that all data standards are met and contribute to achieving high data quality across the organization.
