Requirements
Must:
We require you to hold active eDV clearance and have experience in managed service environments. A strong background in Java or a similar development language is essential, along with proficiency in Git version control. You should possess strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills. Familiarity with microservices, AMQP, S3, Oracle, Terraform, and Ansible is desirable.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will join a specialist team maintaining a cross-domain managed service using modern Application Support practices. Your responsibilities will include building and deploying code using Java, Maven, NPM, Terraform, and Ansible. You will manage CI pipelines and automated testing utilizing Cypress, monitor services with InfluxDB and Grafana, and provide 2nd/3rd line support and incident response. Additionally, you will be responsible for OS patching, database housekeeping, and data centre operations.
Description
This is a secure, on-site contract role in Cheltenham, outside IR35, with a competitive rate ranging from £550 to £650 per day. The position requires you to work on-site for 3-4 days a week.
