Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a nonperforming product management/technical team
- Own Application Portfolio Management strategy, roadmaps and governance
- Drive continuous improvement across technical health, business value and data quality
- Prioritise, co-ordinate and oversee application enhancement workstreams
- Optimise application costs, contracts, licensing and supplier performance
- Strengthen reporting, including Power BI insights on value, delivery and optimisation
- Ensure strong security, data protection and governance in partnership with Infosec
Description
We are seeking an Application Portfolio Manager/Lead Product Manager on a permanent basis to lead a small team of Product Managers and technical specialists responsible for business-critical applications. Reporting to the Head of Technology Architecture, you will oversee the health, performance, and value of our corporate application estate, ensuring robust data integrity, security, reporting, and continuous improvement. This role offers a salary of up to £63K, the opportunity to shape and optimise a large, impactful application estate, and the chance to work within a purpose-led organisation that values social impact.
