Requirements
Must:
- Proven commercial experience working as a Platform Engineer
- Active Security Clearance (SC)
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS security services (IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub, Macie)
- Solid understanding of cloud security frameworks and compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS)
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK)
- Experience embedding security into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub)
- Knowledge of deploying and securing Kubernetes clusters in public cloud
- Strong understanding of AWS networking (VPCs, NACLs, security groups)
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning and monitoring tools (AWS Inspector, Snyk, Trivy, Splunk, Nessus)
- Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate technical concepts clearly
- Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Associate/Professional, CKA, CKSS) are a plus
- Experience with DevSecOps practices and automation tooling (Ansible, Python, Ruby) is a plus
- Exposure to multi-cloud environments (GCP/Azure) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure AWS environments
- Collaborate with diverse teams to integrate security best practices
- Monitor and enhance the security posture of cloud infrastructure
- Develop Infrastructure as Code to streamline deployments
- Embed security measures into CI/CD pipelines
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and remediation
- Ensure compliance with relevant security frameworks and standards
- Deploy and secure Kubernetes clusters in public cloud
- Provide clear communication of technical concepts to stakeholders
- Stay updated on cloud security trends and best practices
Description

This role offers a competitive rate of £550 per day (Inside IR35) and provides the flexibility of remote work with occasional meetings in London.
