Must:
We are looking for someone who has a minimum of 3 years’ experience in installing and supporting Audio Visual Conferencing solutions. Our ideal candidate is articulate, driven, and positive, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You should be comfortable working autonomously and have the ability to perform well under pressure. A flexible approach to working hours is necessary, along with experience in AMX/Crestron hardware and software to a level where you can upload code and identify faults. A CTS qualification is essential, along with knowledge of basic configurations of Cisco codecs, basic IT network knowledge, and experience maintaining and troubleshooting Polycom Codec and sound structure equipment.
Responsibilities
As an Audio Visual Support Engineer, you will be responsible for the implementation of support across our client portfolio, ensuring compliance with SLAs. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing maintenance and support for Audio Visual and Video Conferencing installations for our UK client base.
- Performing fault finding and resolution of Audio Visual and Video Conferencing issues in time-sensitive, high-pressure situations.
- Assisting the Installation Team with new installations of Audio Visual and Video Conferencing solutions between reactive service calls.
- Completing accurate service records and paperwork for customer service visits.
- Proactively building close working relationships with our customer portfolio.
- Conducting regular meeting room checks to ensure equipment is functioning correctly.
- Maintaining, servicing, and monitoring the use of audio-visual equipment.
- Coordinating power-downs and power-ups.
- Identifying additional sales opportunities with existing customers and ensuring these opportunities are communicated and delivered to the appropriate internal teams.
- Clearly communicating with the service team and other relevant internal teams regarding all customer requirements.
Description
Our working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with a requirement to support 24-hour out-of-hours services one weekend per month.
