Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in a 1st/2nd line IT support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
- Experience supporting desktop, laptop, and mobile device environments
- Understanding of basic networking (IP addressing, subnetting, connectivity issues)
- Experience with mobile device management (iOS and Android)
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tickets effectively
- Clear communication skills and a strong customer-first mindset
- Confidence working independently and as part of a collaborative team
Responsibilities
- Delivering 1st and 2nd line IT support across the organisation
- Acting as an escalation point for complex technical issues
- Managing and prioritising the IT service desk queue, ensuring SLA adherence
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Supporting deployment, patching, and lifecycle management of devices (laptops, mobiles, tablets, etc.)
- Delivering IT inductions and user training for new starters
- Monitoring system performance and supporting service availability and resilience
- Working with third-party suppliers to resolve incidents and support projects
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
