Requirements
Must:
- Strong technical background with recent experience in software development
- Skilled at technical stakeholder engagement and problem framing
- Experience using Jira, ServiceNow, Mural/Lucid
Responsibilities
- Facilitate technical discussions to drive the right design and architecture decisions
- Analyse complex business/technical processes and identify risks, opportunities, and lean improvements
- Map, validate, and document requirements; write detailed technical user stories
- Support discovery, scoping, PoCs, and evaluation of technical solutions
- Engage with Product Managers, DevOps, software/data engineering, architecture, and security
- Ensure shared understanding of requirements across engineering teams
- Provide authoritative guidance across multiple technical workstreams (SFIA Level 5)
Description
We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to support our strategic engineering initiatives in Newcastle, operating in a hybrid work model. This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly formed engineering-focused team where collaboration with technical stakeholders is key. You will be working primarily on technical aspects rather than traditional BA tasks. We offer competitive pay of £475 per day (Inside IR35) and the chance to engage with a variety of technical teams.
