Requirements
Must:
- Strong full-stack developer with hands-on experience across multiple programming languages.
- Proven experience leading or mentoring developers.
- Legacy migration experience (essential).
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, integration patterns and backend architecture.
- Good knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to influence technical direction.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a growing development team whilst remaining hands-on.
- Modernise and replatform a legacy application.
- Build and enhance backend services, RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with product, UI/UX, and delivery teams to deliver intuitive, future-ready features.
- Define engineering best practices, architectural patterns and coding standards.
