Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience operating as a ServiceNow Platform or Technical Architect in a large organisation
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow architectural concepts, including multi-module platform design
- CMDB and data governance expertise
- Experience with integrations and enterprise interfaces
- Ability to operate strategically while retaining technical credibility
- Strong decision-making and stakeholder influence skills
- Experience in automotive, manufacturing or engineering-led enterprises (desirable)
- Exposure to multiple ServiceNow product suites (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps) (desirable)
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and governance models (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the ServiceNow platform architecture, ensuring consistency across modules, regions, and business units
- Establish and enforce architectural standards and best practices, including configuration vs customization and data models
- Act as platform design authority, reviewing and approving solution designs and major technical decisions
- Shape instance strategy, release management approach, and upgrade readiness for a global user base
- Ensure ServiceNow architecture aligns with enterprise architecture principles and security requirements
- Support platform scalability, performance, and resilience as adoption grows
- Collaborate with Systems Integrators and internal delivery teams to maintain architectural quality
- Provide senior-level technical guidance and escalation for complex platform decisions
- Work closely with Enterprise Architects to align ServiceNow with broader technology strategy
- Partner with Security, Infrastructure, and Integration teams to maintain platform integrity
- Engage with senior IT and business stakeholders to translate enterprise needs into architectural outcomes
- Influence global stakeholders while balancing regional requirements with enterprise consistency
