Requirements
Must:
- 5–10 years in IT with focus on cybersecurity, including technical leadership.
- Experience with modern digital architectures such as cloud, data, API, digital, and mobile.
- Knowledge of security domains including endpoint, network, data, hybrid cloud security, and zero trust strategies.
- Experience in leading threat modelling sessions.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Cybersecurity certifications (GIAC, CISSP, cloud security) desirable.
- Subject matter expert who can guide teams confidently.
- Strong influencing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to provide expert advice across technical and business areas.
- Commercial acumen and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

- Support transformation initiatives and manage proof of concept exercises.
- Ensure security integration in software development and review technical measures regularly.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to information assets.
Description
We are looking for a Lead Security Architect to join our CISO team, based in Manchester or remotely. This role offers a competitive salary of £80,000 - £100,000 along with bonuses and car allowance. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and reviewing security architectures, developing cohesive security strategies, and ensuring our security posture effectively mitigates risks.
