Responsibilities
As a PMO Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the progress of ISS projects and programmes aligned with the University's strategic priorities. You will support the consistent adoption and utilization of best practice standards, methodologies, and toolkits, and track and report on project progress, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and budgets. Additionally, you will maintain dashboards and reports for senior leadership, the programme team, and wider stakeholders while providing high-quality analytical support to inform planning and decision-making. Collaborating closely with project managers, academic departments, and professional services will be essential to ensure alignment and compliance with governance processes, as well as assisting with resource planning and benefits realization tracking across the project portfolio.
Description
This exciting opportunity to join our Project Management Office within the Information Systems Services Department is a full-time, fixed-term position until 31st July 2026. The role is primarily based on the Lancaster University Bailrigg campus, with flexible hybrid working options to support a positive work-life balance, and we would expect a minimum of 2 days a week in the office. For internal University staff, a secondment opportunity may be considered, but please ensure you have agreement from your current line manager before applying.
