Requirements
Must:
- I have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- I possess 5 years of direct experience in developing and implementing integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- I have considerable experience with integrating Oracle Cloud applications such as HCM, EBS, ERP, and SCM.
- I demonstrate experience in cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-on-premises integrations.
- I have strong technical skills, including knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for implementing integration flows, creating custom logic, and exception handling.
- I have proven experience connecting and synchronizing Oracle Field Service with Oracle HCM modules, including Core HR, Time and Labour, and Workforce Scheduling.
- I have experience connecting Oracle HCM Payroll with third-party applications, such as HMRC.
- I am proficient in using Oracle Adapters (e.g., Oracle EBS Adapter, Oracle HCM Cloud Adapter) for integration purposes.
- I have experience using SOAP, REST APIs, and web services for connecting and integrating third-party systems through custom integrations.
- I am skilled in data transformations and mapping between different data formats and systems.
- I have a good understanding of Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Service Bus (OSB), or similar integration tools.
- I have experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and database integration for working with relational data stores.
- Knowledge of Oracle Autonomous Integration Cloud or similar cloud integration platforms is preferable.
- I possess excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- I have effective communication skills and can collaborate effectively across teams.
- I am a self-starter who can work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- I can manage complex requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- I have demonstrated the ability to troubleshoot and debug integration issues efficiently.
- I am capable of mentoring junior team members.
Responsibilities
- I will lead the end-to-end integration process for Oracle HCM Cloud, including design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- I will configure and customize OIC adapters (e.g., Oracle HCM, Oracle EBS, third-party adapters) for integrating cloud and on-premises applications.
- I will implement complex business logic, data transformations, and mappings between systems using OIC's visual development environment and integration tools.
- I will develop and manage APIs for integration between Oracle HCM, Oracle EBS, Oracle Field Service (OFS), and external applications, ensuring proper security and scalability.
- I will implement effective error handling and monitoring to ensure smooth execution of integration processes and diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
- I will work closely with functional teams, architects, and project managers to understand integration requirements and align solutions with business needs.
- I will create and quality assure detailed technical integration specifications, testing procedures, and deployment steps.
- I will perform thorough unit and integration testing of OIC solutions to ensure high-quality code and efficient data flows.
- I will troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, including performance and data-related problems.
- I will monitor and optimize the performance of OIC integrations, focusing on throughput, latency, and scalability.
- I will provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members of the integration team.
- I will create comprehensive handover documentation/troubleshooting guides and provide side-by-side learning to the SSE BAU team.
- I will continuously keep up to date with Oracle's latest integration tools, frameworks, and best practices and improve integration processes and solution design.
Description
I am looking for a highly skilled Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Development Lead to join our team for an Oracle HCM Cloud program. The role is a 6-month position with a hybrid working mode (3 days per week in the office) based in Reading, Havant, or Glasgow. The ideal candidate will have considerable implementation experience in leading the design, build, test, and deployment of Oracle HCM Cloud integrations across a wide range of application modules.
