Requirements
Must:
- Proven data leadership background.
- Demonstrable experience in defining a strategic vision for data solutions.
- Deep expertise in data technologies, evolving from hands-on analytics to technical leadership.
- Passionate about harnessing data to unlock insights and drive strategic impact.
- Experience leading data teams of approximately 20 members.
- Skilled in modern data tools, including Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong communicator and team builder, capable of driving growth and engagement.
- Executive-level thinker with strategic influence and change leadership.
- Specific and current experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced private sector environment.
- Ability to work 3 days a week on-site in Glasgow.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the CIO to redefine the future data landscape for the business.
- Lead the development of advanced analytics, BI tools, and AI-driven solutions.
- Create a robust data ecosystem that supports the wider business in making data-led decisions.
- Champion data governance, quality, and security.
- Foster a data-driven culture and encourage cross-functional collaboration.
- Build and lead a high-performing team focused on capability development and succession planning.
