Requirements
Must:
- Strong knowledge of data lineage and/or data architecture
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or equivalent
- Experience with various database technologies including RDBMS, Sybase, and DB2
- Familiarity with AI tools for analysis and automation
- Understanding of metadata management or data lineage tools
- Exposure to version control systems and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Previous experience in financial services or banking technology
- Ability to work with automated testing methodologies (e.g., TDD or BDD)
Responsibilities
- Identify and inventory datasets across diverse code repositories
- Automate the capture and maintenance of data catalogues and documentation as code
- Leverage GenAI tools for automating dataset discovery, documentation, and data lineage analysis
- Create and maintain data flow documentation and architecture diagrams
- Participate in data governance discussions to ensure compliance and data quality standards
Description
We are a Tier 1 investment bank looking for a senior developer to join our global front office team, supporting the Equity Swap business.
