Must:
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who has excellent technical and core Azure skills. You should have experience with App Services, Containerization, APIM, Azure AD and OAUTH, Management Identity (User and System), App Insights & Azure Monitor, App Gateway, Certificate management/TLS offloading/Mutual TLS, and B2B & B2C Identity Management. It's essential that you are well-versed in DevOps pipelines and possess a strong background in previous development roles managing multiple release streams across various applications using tools such as YAML and SSDT (SQL Server Deployment Tool).
Additionally, we require strong scripting skills in PowerShell, AZ CLI, Terraform, and IaC resource deployment. Experience with data warehousing ETL using ADF and adherence to secure coding practices are also a must. A systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem-solving is essential, along with demonstrable leadership abilities and excellent communication skills, especially in presenting, collaborating, and partnering with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
In this role, I expect you to provide leadership and accountability for the ongoing maintenance and release management of our core applications, as well as CI/CD developed service improvements. You will implement SSO for our RPA product (UIPath) to enhance security configurations, working alongside our RPA partner. Your tasks will include building and testing CI/CD pipelines for RPA UIPath code, which will involve linting and code scanning checks.
You will also be responsible for reviewing, designing, and implementing a new RBAC model for the INFR and DEV teams while overseeing Azure privileged access across four platforms. I need you to set up and maintain DevOps repositories and branching strategies with version control. Additionally, you will be tasked with establishing and maintaining pipelines that support CI/CD, ensuring assurance and governance of application releases. You will assist development teams in debugging and troubleshooting application issues, as well as quality-checking code.
Description
This is a remote position based in Reading/Havant, where you will be expected to work in the office for 2 to 2.5 days per week. The duration of this initial contract is three months.
