Requirements
Must:

- Experience with Microsoft Azure (especially Azure Data Factory)
- Experience working with configuration/parameter files (JSON, YAML)
- Knowledge of Git (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) - Desirable
- Python skills - Desirable
- Detail-oriented and diligent
- Clear and confident communicator

Responsibilities
- Designing and executing test cases across SQL databases and tables
- Performing data validation, verification, and integrity checks
- Ensuring data accuracy (types, columns, duplicates, field issues, etc.)
- Implementing automated data testing processes
- Producing clear test plans, reports, and documentation
- Working closely with data engineers and software teams to resolve issues quickly
- Understanding data structures and proposing improvements
Description
We are seeking an experienced Automation Data Tester (Data QA Engineer) to join our collaborative Data Engineering team in a fully remote role. Our team works closely with developers and architects to deliver high-quality, accurate, and reliable data solutions. This position offers a competitive rate of £260 per day on a 6-month contract basis, outside IR35. We value detail-oriented professionals who are passionate about delivering genuine value to clients and are looking to enhance our data processes.
