Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a data analyst
- Strong experience in SQL and relational databases
- Ability to read technical material (e.g., scripts, configuration files)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with ServiceNow, with understanding of the CMDB/AMDB data model
- Experience with data architecture and data lineage analysis
- Knowledge of data center and IT inventory equipment
- Willingness to obtain a Basic Disclosure Scotland
Responsibilities
- Collecting asset and configuration data requirements from various functions
- Performing cross-functional analysis to identify synergies and divergence between functions and industry standards
- Supporting the alignment between data requirements and data architecture
- Identifying and actively tracking data requirements from functions managing, producing, consuming, assuring, and monitoring compliance of the data
- Collaborating with data architects to identify technical implementation options
- Validating recommended options to ensure they meet data requirements
- Acting as a liaison with the functions requiring data to assess the impact of technical solutions
- Analyzing data discrepancies between systems against cross-functional data requirements, including data lineage analysis
- Coordinating with team members to reach project milestones and deadlines
- Creating, presenting, updating, and recording data artifacts
Description
We are a forward-thinking client based in Glasgow, seeking a Business Data Analyst for a 12-month engagement, operating under IR35 regulations.
