- Experience of training users on how to use the system
- Capability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users
- Experience of process management and process improvement
- Methodical, calm, and able to make decisions
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Good interpersonal skills and ethical work approach
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the ERP systems day-to-day operation and performance
- Look after users, providing training for new starters and addressing user issues
- Interact with the software provider
- Manage system upgrades, testing them, implementing, and communicating changes to users
- Work with the business to understand user improvement needs, organize, and launch enhancements
- Conduct audits and create processes to ensure ISO 27001 compliance
- Log and track user issues with the ERP system and help to resolve them
- Provide strategic input on how the systems can evolve to help the business achieve its objectives
Description
We are recruiting for an ERP Systems and Software Specialist for our fantastic company based in Eastleigh. We have several hundred users across multiple sites and are a successful, growing business that innovates and invests in IT. This role reports to the Head of IT and is crucial for maintaining our ERP system.
