Must:
We are looking for candidates with a strong understanding of the data lifecycle, Data Protection Act (DPA), and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You should be comfortable working with the Microsoft stack, and a background in smaller organizations or retail would be beneficial. Experience in non-regulated industries is preferred.
Responsibilities
In this role, I expect you to own and manage your workload while engaging directly with stakeholders to gather requirements. You will deliver privacy and supplier assessments, including risk identification and remediation. Supporting privacy by design across customer-related projects and attending relevant steer-cos will be key responsibilities. Additionally, you will audit and maintain Records of Processing Activities (ROPA).
You will also be involved in data flow mapping and are expected to handle around 100 assessments plus evaluations of approximately 20 new tools per year.
Description
This position is situated within a high-demand team that focuses on supporting ongoing developments and delivering a high volume of assessments. You will report to the Head of Data Protection, with day-to-day oversight from the manager responsible for Quality Assurance and assurance activities. The contract is for 12 months and is located in Oxfordshire, requiring you to be on-site three days a week. We are offering a rate of £400-£475 per day and would like you to start as soon as possible.
