Requirements
Must:

Responsibilities
- Develop, amend, and maintain Tableau dashboards.
- Create, optimize, and support SQL Server stored procedures, views, functions, and ad hoc queries.
- Maintain and develop SSRS reports.
- Support the migration of existing reporting into the Databricks environment.
- Contribute to documentation, testing, and code reviews.
- Engage directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and support self-service.
- Ensure consistency with internal processes, governance, and data protection standards.
Description
This contract has been created to keep a high-volume reporting workstream moving while the wider team focuses on the Databricks migration. You will own a mix of Tableau, SQL, and SSRS development work, supporting business stakeholders and maintaining existing reporting across the estate. Day-to-day, you will gather requirements directly from stakeholders, build and amend dashboards, develop SQL objects, and keep key reporting processes running smoothly. Supporting documentation, participating in code reviews, and contributing to best practices across the BI function are also key aspects of this role. Success in this project will look like: - Stable delivery of BAU reporting. - Smooth migration of legacy reports into Databricks. - High-quality SQL and Tableau deliverables that stakeholders can self-serve from. - Clear documentation of reporting and BI processes. Position Details: - Job Title: BI Developer (SQL, Tableau, SSRS) - Location: Milton Keynes (1 day per week) - Contract Length: 6 months - IR35: Outside - Day Rate: £450-£550 - Notice Period: 2 weeks max.
