Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience in enterprise data architecture within financial services
- Proven track record delivering data strategy, architecture, and governance
- Experience designing cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong knowledge of data modelling (conceptual, logical, physical) and data lake design
- Experience with data cataloguing, metadata management, and governance tools
- Understanding of data security, privacy, and access frameworks
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) (desirable)
- Experience with graph/semantic data modelling (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Lead data architecture design and delivery across complex programmes
- Define and implement enterprise data strategy and governance frameworks
- Advise senior stakeholders on best practice data architecture
- Design modern cloud-based data platforms and data lakes
- Align data architecture across multiple business units and programmes
- Lead teams and contribute to capability development and business growth

Were partnering with a leading financial services consultancy to hire a Senior and Principal Data Architect. This is a senior leadership role focused on shaping and delivering enterprise data architecture strategies across large-scale transformation programmes. This is a hybrid role located in the UK, offering a competitive salary ranging from £80k to £117k.
