Requirements
Must:
- Expertise in Power BI
- Strong SQL; Python or R is a bonus
- Experience with data modelling (dimensional, star schema, semantic layers)
- Understanding of data pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, GCP)
- Strong business acumen - able to turn strategy into analytics
- A track record of delivering insights that lead to measurable outcomes
- Problem-solver, critical thinker, and confident communicator
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end BI and analytics projects, from defining the problem to deploying the solution.
- Design dashboards, reporting frameworks, and analytical methodologies that drive measurable business value.
- Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs, understand challenges, and translate requirements into actionable insights.
- Measure the impact and ROI of analytics work, ensuring outputs influence strategy and decision-making.
- Work across Salesforce, NetSuite, HR, finance, and operational systems.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure pipelines are reliable, scalable, and high-quality.
- Lead workshops, insight playbacks, and training sessions to boost data literacy across teams.
- Document processes, create self-serve materials, and help replace siloed Excel reporting with modern BI.
- Optimise existing dashboards and introduce best practices in analytics and emerging tools.
