Senior Software Engineer - Pensions and Investments

We seek a candidate with professional experience in AWS and full-stack development, particularly using TypeScript with React on the front end. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing tools and practices (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Backstop). You should enjoy upskilling others while prioritizing knowledge sharing and have experience integrating and onboarding 3rd party vendors, involving meetings with vendor engineering contacts and defining integration patterns. A solid understanding of microservices and principles of RESTful API development, including structuring, documenting, versioning, testing, and mocking, is required. Knowledge of event-driven architecture, performing code reviews, and working within an Agile framework is also necessary. We expect you to be aware of website performance implications and to adhere to best practices and non-functional requirements. The ability to write, assist in writing, or review technical documentation is key, along with advocating for excellent development practices to ensure rapid, continuous delivery of client value. Experience with React Native, GraphQL, and DevOps is beneficial.
