Requirements
Must:
- Professional experience with AWS, TypeScript, React, Node, Java, and using IaC tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing tools and practices (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Backstop, Playwright).
- Familiarity with CI/CD and Trunk Based Development.
- Knowledge of observability tools and practices, including monitoring, logging, and tracing.
- Experience with integrating and onboarding third-party vendors, including defining integration patterns and managing vendor APIs/data models.
- Background in designing and implementing Microservices and RESTful APIs, including structuring, documenting, versioning, and testing.
- Experience with Event Driven Architecture design and implementation.
- Proficient in various database technologies and their applications.
- Experience collaborating with Data Engineers on data platform technologies.
- Adherence to WCAG accessibility standards and awareness of website performance best practices.
- Proficient in collaborative code reviews, technical documentation, and advocating for excellent development practices within an Agile framework.
Responsibilities
- I will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital client journeys.
- I will design and develop AWS cloud-native applications using TypeScript and React while managing them through Infrastructure as Code.
- I will write high-quality, secure, tested, and performant code.
- I will create and maintain automated tests for new changes.
- I will document all solutions according to team standards.
- I will provide engineering support and maintenance for existing applications.
- I will continuously develop my technical and interpersonal skills, showing a willingness to learn and adopt new technologies and techniques.
- I will provide coaching and mentoring to peers and junior team members.
- I will advocate for continuous improvements in ways of working, quality, security, performance, and CI/CD processes.
- I will cultivate strong working relationships within my squad and across the organization.
- I will engage in working groups and communities of practice to support the development team.
