Requirements
Must:
- Extensive hands-on Salesforce development experience (Apex, LWC, Flows, APIs)
- Strong background in enterprise-scale solution design and release management (including Gearset Project Pipelines)
- Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, integrations and deployment strategies
- Process-driven, organised, pragmatic, and calm under pressure, especially around releases
- Excellent communicator, able to influence and lead across teams without direct management responsibility
- Preferred: Salesforce Lightning, App Builder, Data Cloud, Agile delivery, previous technical/delivery lead experience
- Desirable certifications: Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I & II, Administrator) highly desirable
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and delivery of complex Salesforce solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with architectural standards
- Act as design authority for changes, conducting code/design reviews and championing Salesforce best practices (Apex, LWC, Flows, integrations)
- Oversee release management: define and improve deployment standards using tools like Gearset Project Pipelines; set release gates and reduce deployment risk
- Drive improvements in delivery processes across Design, Build, Test, and Release; identify gaps and implement pragmatic solutions to increase reliability and speed
- Collaborate with internal/external teams, providing technical guidance and mentorship; translate complex topics for non-technical stakeholders
