Requirements

Must:
- Experience of working within, and a thorough understanding of, financial service environments from a Business Continuity perspective. - Skilled at forging effective relationships at all levels, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and manage challenging conversations with ease. - Possess a solution-focused mindset, capable of developing innovative solutions and resolving complex issues. - Commitment to continuous improvement of self and team performance, promoting change and innovation. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changeable environment while demonstrating resilience under pressure. - Technically proficient in Excel; experience with Power BI is advantageous. - Ability to work both independently and in a team, collaborating effectively to achieve common goals. - Strong skills in managing conflicting priorities while delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities

- Setting and leading the coordination and implementation of the Business Continuity Programme across our organization. - Managing relationships with specific business areas, including but not limited to Business Impact Analysis (BIAs), Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), and training and awareness. - Overseeing data quality across BIAs and BCPs to ensure consistency and adherence to standards. - Reviewing Supplier Due Diligence responses to ensure new and existing third parties can effectively support our service delivery. - Engaging with change initiatives to implement timely updates into BIAs and BCPs resulting from business changes. - Providing feedback from front-line teams on Business Continuity tooling. - Supporting the coordination and management of disruptive events at bronze and silver team levels, and conducting scenario testing with insights from BIAs and BCPs. - Developing schedules and materials for Business Continuity training and awareness activities, ensuring that Business Continuity Coordinators and managers are proficient in implementing the plans. - Maintaining and developing existing Business Continuity policies and standards. - Supporting the delivery of governance forums relating to Business Continuity.
