Requirements
Must:
- Strong knowledge of database systems, particularly Microsoft SQL Server
- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools
- Strong understanding of cloud-based data solutions, preferably Microsoft Azure
- Experience maintaining online reporting tools such as Power BI
- Proficiency in PowerShell for task automation and system management
- Excellent Transact-SQL (T-SQL) skills
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships across IT, Finance, Underwriting, Business Solutions, and Operations
- Approachable, collaborative, and supportive team member
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain organisational databases to ensure data integrity, availability, and optimal performance
- Monitor and maintain database access, permissions, and security controls
- Ensure database backups are functioning correctly and perform ad hoc backups and restores as required
- Support database releases, including running deployment scripts and contributing to continuous improvement of deployment processes
