Must:

- Experience in mobile development
- Strong skills in Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift/Objective-C)
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar
- Experience building secure, reliable applications for business or operational use
- Good understanding of mobile networking, data storage, UI rendering and performance optimisation
Responsibilities
- Contribute to architecture and technical design of internal mobile applications
- Develop and enhance core features and modules
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements
- Translate operational needs into scalable technical solutions
- Write clean, maintainable and well-structured code
- Use AI-assisted development tools as part of the development process
- Participate in code reviews and maintain development standards
- Continuously improve application performance, reliability and usability
Description
We are a growing business based in Chester, seeking a Mobile Developer to join our internal technology team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with a possibility of becoming a permanent position as our digital capability expands. This role focuses on building and improving internal mobile applications used by our operational teams across the business, creating practical tools that support day-to-day operations and improve efficiency.
