We are looking for a skilled and motivated GCP Cloud Developer with hands-on experience in designing and implementing scalable, cloud-based solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You should be proficient in Python or Node.js for cloud function development and have experience with the relevant Google Cloud services. A strong understanding of cloud-native application design principles and familiarity with Apigee and API gateway configuration is essential. You need to be able to work collaboratively in an agile, fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy applications using Google Cloud Functions (Python or Node.js). You will also implement and optimize data pipelines using Google Cloud Dataflow and manage and query relational databases using Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL). Additionally, you will handle file operations and create trigger-based workflows using Google Cloud Storage. Your responsibilities will include configuring and managing access controls using Google Cloud IAM (service accounts, permissions) and integrating APIs while managing API gateway configurations using Apigee.
Description
This is a 6-month contract position with a view to extend, with a day rate of up to £500 per day (Inside IR35). The role is based in Warwick with a hybrid working arrangement, and we are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. You will work on impactful projects that leverage the latest in cloud-native technologies.
