Solutions Architect

In this role, you will lead the architecture of complex, large-scale systems using modern Java technologies, ensuring that the architecture aligns with our business's strategic goals. You will provide high-level architecture design decisions for microservices, APIs, and cloud solutions while ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards. Although this role is largely hands-off, you will need to liaise and communicate with engineers to guide them in day-to-day activities. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and senior leadership to ensure that our architecture aligns with the company's vision and goals. Your communication skills will be crucial in conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. As a mentor to senior developers and engineers, you will foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement while ensuring that the architecture is understood and implemented correctly. Additionally, you will design scalable, efficient, and secure microservices-based architectures that can grow with our business needs. You will also develop strategies for integrating with existing systems and ensure APIs are designed for extensibility and maintainability. Leading the design and implementation of cloud-native applications on AWS, you will apply security, performance, and cost optimization principles to our cloud-based solutions. Finally, you will maintain comprehensive technical documentation and establish architectural guidelines, governance, and best practices across our engineering teams.
