Requirements
Must:
We require a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in .NET development, including proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core. Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, and performance tuning is essential. You should have proven experience with database architecture and management, along with a solid understanding of software and solutions architecture principles, such as Microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architecture. Prior industry experience in payments, e-cards, digital wallets, or transactional systems is highly desirable. Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms, as well as knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, will be advantageous. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is expected, with preference given to candidates educated at a Russell Group university (though this is not essential).
Responsibilities
In this role, I expect you to design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust .NET applications while leading the implementation of technical solutions that align with our business goals. You will optimize and manage complex SQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, and DevOps, will be key. We value a good to high-level understanding of architecture and expect you to ensure code quality through best practices and code reviews. Additionally, mentoring junior developers and supporting continuous improvement within the team will be important responsibilities. Staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends, especially in payments and digital transactions, is also a critical aspect of this role.
Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer to join our growing technology team. This role requires strong expertise in .NET development, deep knowledge of SQL and database management, and a solid understanding of software architecture and solution design. Experience in the payments and e-card industry is highly desirable. You will have the opportunity to work with global brands such as Google, Sony, and Visa, among many others. This position operates on a hybrid working basis, with 3 days on-site and 2 days remote. There is a 2-3 stage interview process, and we currently have interview slots available.
