Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a Lead Kotlin Developer with at least 5 years of back-end development experience using Kotlin. You should have expertise in microservice architectures and frameworks such as Spring Boot or http4k. A deep understanding of RESTful API design and integration is essential, along with proven experience in mentoring engineers and contributing to high-performing teams. Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban), TDD, and pair programming practices is important, as is experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling. Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, or GitLab CI, as well as experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, will be highly regarded.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance services using Kotlin. You will provide technical leadership and mentoring to other engineers within the team and contribute to solution architecture and strategic technical direction. Your work will involve building, integrating, and maintaining REST APIs and backend services. We expect you to champion best practices in software quality, CI/CD, observability, and DevOps, while collaborating with cross-functional teams that include Product, QA, and DevOps. If you are interested, you may also take on people management responsibilities for engineers and should stay updated with emerging backend and cloud technologies.
