Requirements
Must:
- 5 years of experience in software application development
- Strong expertise in C#, .NET, and .NET Core
- Solid experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Skilled in using Visual Studio and Git/SVN for version control
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK to be considered
Responsibilities
- I will line manage, mentor, and support a team of developers.
- I lead sprint ceremonies: standups, planning, retrospectives, and refinement.
- I remove blockers and drive team progress in an Agile environment.
- I engage in hands-on coding: design, develop, test, and refactor applications.
- I collaborate with Product Owners to align priorities and deliverables.
- I maintain code quality through peer reviews and technical leadership.
- I become a subject matter expert in key system areas.
Description
At Halian Technologies, we are hiring on behalf of our fast-growing technology client who is looking for a Lead Developer to guide a dynamic and collaborative development team. This leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems and leading others to success. You will be leading software engineers through the full product lifecycle using Agile methodologies. This is a varied role where you will split your time between people leadership, scrum mastering, and active development using C#/.NET technologies. We seek a strong communicator who is a team motivator with a logical, analytical, and methodical approach. It is essential that you remain calm under pressure with high attention to detail and a passion for both people leadership and technical delivery.
