Requirements
Must:
- I am looking for candidates with knowledge in .NET development, including C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
- I require expertise in SQL Server, including T-SQL, database performance tuning, and query optimization.
- A solid understanding of database architecture, design, and management is essential.
- I expect candidates to have a strong grasp of software architecture principles, including Microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines will be considered a plus.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is necessary, ideally from a Russell Group university.
Responsibilities
- You will design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using the .NET framework.
- I expect you to manage and optimize complex SQL databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and security.
- You will lead the delivery of technical solutions that align with business objectives and architectural standards.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, and DevOps, will be required to deliver robust solutions.
- You will apply a strong understanding of software architecture to ensure code quality through best practices, code reviews, and design principles.
- Mentorship of junior developers and contribution to team-wide knowledge sharing and continuous improvement will be part of your role.
- Staying current with emerging technologies and trends, particularly in the payments and digital transaction landscape, will be important.

I am excited to welcome a Junior .NET Developer to our expanding technology team, where you will have the opportunity to collaborate with leading global brands, including Google, Sony, and Visa, among many other renowned organizations. This position is based in Essex and operates in a hybrid model (3 days onsite). The salary range for this role is £40,000 - £50,000, depending on experience.
