Requirements
Must:
- 3-5 years experience in Dynamics 365 Business Central, including functional configuration and finance modules
- Strong understanding of technical architecture (environments, extensions, integrations)
- Experience owning a backlog and writing detailed user stories
- Proven experience managing IT General Controls and Active Directory environments
- Familiarity with robust DevOps/ALM processes for D365 BC deployments
- Strong knowledge of C/AL, and experience with AL
- Competence with analysis tools such as PowerBI
- Ability to provide actionable intelligence dashboards and reports for senior stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Serve as the internal System Owner for all BC environments (Dev, Test, Prod)
- Manage system integrity, lifecycle, and health
- Implement and enforce IT General Controls (ITGC)
- Conform to and adopt enterprise-wide change management processes
- Ensure compliant, secure, and controlled releases of configurations and code
- Configure and customize standard Business Central functionalities, forms, reports, and workflows according to business requirements
- Design and develop customisations, extensions, and integrations within the Dynamics 365 Business Central platform
- Act as the Product Owner for the BC platform
- Own, prioritise, and manage the system roadmap and backlog
- Define and translate business needs into detailed user stories and requirements
- Lead basic setup and training for new users
- Handle complex user issues
Description
We are looking for a dedicated Dynamics 365 Business Central Platform Owner to be the primary administrator of our D365 Business Central environment. This is a hybrid role combining deep functional and technical administration with strategic ownership. We offer a full-time, permanent position that requires five days a week on-site at our offices in Guildford.
