Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 2 years of engineering experience
- At least 5 years of project management experience
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of cloud architecture and cloud computing
- Background in financial technology
- Experience with JIRA
- PMP Certified
- Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Nice to have:
- 2 years of cloud migration experience
- 2 years of direct people management experience
- 2 years as a Release Train Engineer
- 5 years of engineering architecture experience
- Experience with AWS Cloud
- Knowledge of data migration and eWallets
- Experience with microservices and OpenShift Cloud Platform (OCP)
- Familiarity with payments networks
- Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification
- Experience with Tableau and tokenization
Responsibilities
- Leverage a deep understanding of agile principles, project management, engineering, and modern software product development to shape work, learning, and innovation.
- Manage the flow of work across multiple agile teams within the Google, Samsung, and other eWallet value streams, taking accountability for the efficient management of large and complex product launches.
- Utilize data and metrics to derive insights and continuously identify improvement opportunities, driving these opportunities to fruition.
- Champion Agile Software Product development processes within the Google, Samsung, and other eWallet value streams, ensuring adherence to agile processes during product development cycles.
- Manage planning dependencies spanning the Global Payments Network, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Compliance, and other organizations involved in executing the Google and Samsung modernization roadmap.
Description
This is a contract position based in Farnborough, UK, requiring you to be onsite for 2 days a week in a hybrid working model. The contract duration is for 12 months and is extendable. The rate for this position is £700 per day, classified as inside IR35.
