Requirements
Must:
- Demonstrable experience delivering DPIAs end-to-end
- A recognised privacy qualification such as CIPP/E, CIPM or CIPT
- Strong organisational skills and confidence managing competing priorities
- Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Practical, solutions-focused mindset and keen eye for detail
- Comfort working with Microsoft tools and adapting quickly to new systems
- Experience using OneTrust (helpful but not essential)
- Previous people management experience is welcomed, though not a prerequisite
Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day management of Data Protection Impact Assessments, from initial scoping through to completion
- Act as the first port of call for privacy queries connected to DPIAs and related processing activity
- Work closely with teams across the organisation to gather, challenge and refine information needed to complete assessments accurately
- Translate complex processing activities into clear, structured records within privacy management systems
- Manage and track a high volume of concurrent assessments, ensuring deadlines are met and progress is visible
- Maintain and periodically review Records of Processing Activities (ROPAs)
- Support audits, assurance work and ongoing enhancements to the privacy framework
- Assist with the handling and assessment of data protection incidents and breaches
- Contribute to the upkeep and development of privacy policies, standards and internal guidance
