Requirements
Must:
- Educated to degree level in a numerate/business related subject, or equivalent experience in data management and ICT security.
- Knowledge of ETL tools, such as SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or AWS Glue
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, implementation, and day-to-day support of enterprise level data integration solutions.
- Work with a broad range of technologies and tools for key areas such as operational line of business applications, income and payment processing, BI reporting, and website processes.
- Contribute to delivering outcomes for both internal and external customers.
- Support the Councils operational data integrations and digital transformation projects to achieve the Councils strategic objectives.
Description
At The Highland Council, our ICT department has recently undergone significant transformation, focusing on maximizing the use of data and systems to enhance data insights across all Council services. We are looking for an ICT Data Engineer to join our data integrations team, contributing to our commitment to equality of opportunity and fostering a diverse workforce. This position will be based across various Highland Council office locations, offering a salary of £35,399 - £39,585 per annum for a fixed term of 12 months, with a standard work schedule of 35 hours per week.
